Let’s talk Chia

Chia puddings are both yummy and healthy and filling. Way filling. And so easy to make. And tasty, did I say tasty?

Basic Recipe

2 dl dairy free milk
2 dates
(1 TBSP cocoa powder)
½ tsp vanilla powder
a pinch of salt
½ dl chia seeds.

Mix all ingredients but chia seeds till a smooth batter.
Mix in chia seeds and let it set in the fridge for at least 15 min.
Or over night for a great breakfast!

As you can see from the pictures I used Chai milk for one pudding that I topped with
cocoa nibs.

The other one I made with a raw nutella topping. Sooo good.
I can’t find the recipe I used but here’s one from talesofakitchen that should work just as well.

  • 1.5 cups raw hazelnuts
  • 7 TBSP cacao powder
  • 8 medjool dates
  • 2/3 cups water (or you could use nut milk)
  • pinch of sea salt
  • 2 TBSP coconut oil
  • 2/3 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
  1. Add hazelnuts to blender and process until you get a sticky dough, almost to a nut butter stage.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients and process until you get a smooth, creamy, thick chocolate spread.
