So you might know that frozen bananas will become your new best friend if you don’t want to eat ice cream based on dairy products. Their texture, when frozen and blended, really resembles dairy ice cream. I always keep a couple ones (in chunks!) in the freezer. You want the really riped ones as they bring more sweetness to the table.
Before I’ve showed you THIS banana ice cream recipe, this time I thought I’d give you the recipes for two delicious shakes.
You can use any non-dairy milk really but stay away from rice milk for now because it’s too thin for this.
If it taste of too much chocolate, just reduce the amount of cocoa used, or why not add some more dates to sweeten things up a bit.
NUT BUTTER SHAKE
Try and use different kind of nut butters to find your favourite flavour! Also, sprinkle a little cinnamon on top, it blends perfectly with the shake.
